How do I set up my mobile dog fence correctly?
Here we would like to give you a little help on how to set up the fence correctly.
Step 1)
Roll out the elements on the ground so that the sewn-on pockets are facing upwards.
Step 2)
Slide the poles into the sewn-on pockets of the fence from below.
The bottom edge of the fence is the edge where the eyelets are sewn in.
Insert one rod into each pocket of the first element > i.e. 5 rods.
In the following elements, the first pocket is always left free, from left to right.
Step 3)
Take the first element with the 5 poles and start at the caravan / motorhome and insert the first pole into the floor as close as possible to the outer wall by stepping on the cross strut of the double step tip.
IMPORTANT!!!
If the floor is too firm, it may be necessary to pre-drill with a masonry drill. We accept no liability for damage caused by mechanical means (e.g. bent or broken tips). no warranty!
The sewn-on pole pockets should always face inwards towards the "front garden" of the caravan / motorhome. Setting them up the other way round means a lot of tension on the seams of the pockets, which can lead to tearing.
Step 4)
Once the first pole has been successfully inserted, the fence material is tensioned and the second pole is positioned. To do this, you can use your foot to help a little and push the lower tip of the pole in the opposite direction to the first pole with a little pressure. However, the pole should still be perpendicular to the floor.
This procedure is repeated with all the poles of the first element.
Step 5)
The loose end of the second element is now connected to the first element, which is already standing, using the zip fastener.
Then continue as described in step 4.
Depending on how many elements are placed, steps 4 and 5 are repeated alternately.
The last bar of the last element should then be as close as possible to the caravan / motorhome. Or, if the fence goes all the way round, it can be connected with the zip fastener.
Optional when setting up with the Agility-Flash gate
The assembly of the fence does not differ from the assembly without a gate.
The gate is connected to the fence using the integrated connectors including zip fasteners.
The only thing to note is that a pole is then also inserted in the first pole pocket with the element that is connected to the right of the gate.
Other notes
Guy ropes and pegs are not included in the scope of delivery. However, it is advisable to take these with you.
The pegs can be used for small or young dogs, for example, to additionally fix the fence to the ground every 50 cm using the eyelets and thus prevent it from breaking out.
Guy ropes can be used if necessary, e.g. in strong winds. The line can be pulled through the slit in the black cap at the top.
